AMERICAN MEDICAL, INC.,d/b/a American Medical Management Of New York, was founded on June, 1995 by Dr. Noha B. Badr, President, with the goal of supplying the health care community with the most outstanding therapy services available.
AMERICAN MEDICAL, INC. is a TENNESSEE corporation, authorized to transact business at the states of MICHIGAN, INDIANA, NEW JERSEY and THE STATE OF NEW YORK where Corporate Main Office is located at 260 Middle County Rd., Bldg.3, Suite 9-A, SELDEN, N.Y. 11784, and is a member of THE AMERICAN NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REHABILITATION AGENCIES, NEW YORK STATE ASSOCIATION OF HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS, NEW YORK STATE HOME CARE ASSOCIATION and the UNITED STATES CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and PHILIPPINES OVERSEAS EMPLOYMENT ADMINISTRATION.
Since 1995 AMERICAN MEDICAL, proudly has been able to successfully provide Rehabilitative Therapy Services to more than 1.7 Million patients to date.
As of July 2004, American Medical is officially authorized by New York State Dept. of Health to provide home health care services.
Home Health Care Services, are currently limited to the counties of: Suffolk, Nassau, Queens, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Sullivan, Orange, Dutches, and Ulster.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
American medical provides a wide range of home healthcare, therapy and health care management services. Services are provided 24-hours /7 day’s a week to meet the specific needs of each patient/client and in coordination of individualized plan of care.
These services are provided to home health care patients as well as healthcare facilities such as: hospitals, nursing homes, outpatient rehab centers, medical and diagnostic centers, clinics and the New York City school system.

American Medical Board of Directors and Management Team has over 103 Cumulative Years of Health Care Experience in addition to more than 105 Therapists and Health Professionals.
We are Fully Staffed with Registered Nurses, Medical Social Workers, Professional Therapist, Paraprofessionals and Administrative Staff.
All of American Medical professional and paraprofessional staff have graduated from accredited schools and are fully licensed and certified by Federal and State Governing Authorities.

- On-site comprehensive Quality Assurance Survey
- Therapy Start of Care Tracking, if required by setting
- Recertification Tracking, if required by setting
- Frequency and Duration Tracking, if required by setting

CLINICAL DOCUMENTATION & STAFF
- American Medical has a full compliment of experienced and helpful office staff ready to assist patients, agency and/or facility with their requests. Many office functions have been centralized in our corporate office to reduce related overhead and administrative costs.
- American Medical’s staff receives a thorough orientation and annual evaluation to all applicable federal and state regulations in addition to the requisites of their professional practice.
- American Medical implements State Approved Policies & Procedures for clinical documentations as well as HIPPA Regulations and other topics as per corporate manual.

AFTER HOURS/WEEKEND SERVICES
- Working in conjunction with patient, referral source, agency or facility, professional staff are available to evaluate and treat patients later in the workday and on weekends, if needed. Our staff can be dispatched within 24 hours notice of referral. In case of emergency, American Medical standby nursing staff can be dispatched immediately.

START OF CARE REQUIREMENTS
- Our goal at American Medical is to have patients evaluated within 24 hours of referral for most settings excluding nursing homes long-term coverage which is usually determined as per the method of billing by facility due to State and Federal regulations, if required.
